MRTS91 Conduit and Pits November 2019 Technical Specification made a major change to the types of Pits Covers that are allowed to be used within the network. Previously only Class B steel lids coated in the TMR approved Insulated & Antislip Paint that were batch approved could be used within the network. Now, with this update, Class B lids containing plastic components that meet the required UV tests and receive batch approval can be used in all the same locations as steel within the network. Since this change Tri Underground has received batch approval for our full TRI TUFF Composite lid range.
