With technology evolving faster than ever, requirements can change just as quickly. This can pose challenges for both manufacturers and contractors. One challenge was with a change in fibre optic cable, prompting the need for larger pits in the QLD DTMR network, as the minimum bend radius of the new cable didn’t suit the current line-up.
This change has since added the new T100 pit and accessories to Tri Underground’s range. This includes exclusive TRI TUFF Composite Class B lid & TRI TUFF Collar for T100, Riser, Split Pit and precast concrete surround all approved by TMR.
The T100 pit range can also be used in an array of applications Australia-wide with Communications, Traffic Signal and Electrical lids available.
