Gowrie Junction Estate

This estate is just outside the city of Toowoomba in the Darling Downs Region of Queensland. Like many other new estates, it is being developed to cater for the rapidly growing population. Tri Underground is proud to supply pits, lids, bends & fittings.
Redcliffe Peninsular Rail Line Pathway – CCTV & Smart Lighting

Project Details: 2021
Upgrading a newly built bikeway in Brisbane’s north, this project provided smart lighting and improved security for pits along the pathway. Tri Underground provided our innovative shackless pad lockable lids with registered keys to the project. The same design was previously used by Queensland Police Services.
Northern Transitway Busway (Kedron – Chermside)

This project provides a dedicated bus lane along Gympie Road between Kedron and Chermside, saving travel time for commuters during peak hours. Tri Underground are proud to supply our own TMR approved conduits, circular pits, bends & other consumables to this project.
Solar Lighting and Signage Battery Safety Improvement
Contractor: Department of Transport and Main Roads
Project Details: 2019 – current
Tri Underground worked alongside the Department of Transport and Main Roads to design a new Concrete Battery Pit with PE box to safer hold solar batteries for highway lighting and signage. This initiative was to provide better defence against theft while allowing for easier accessibility for authorised contractors.
Bluewater Upgrade

This project provided a much-needed intersection upgrade close to a school in Bluewater, just 30km north of Townsville, Queensland. Tri is proud to supply both direct and through a local wholesaler for this project.
Edenbrook Estate

This multistage subdivision is just 10min from the heart of Rockhampton and is supplying much-needed house and land packages to a growing population. Tri supply conduits, pits, bends & fittings to this subdivision.
Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade (RNAU)

Project Details: 2018 – 2021
Together with the Bruce Highway Safety Package, this project has duplicated 4.9km of highway through the northern suburbs of Parkhurst & Glenlee in Rockhampton providing improved safety and higher vehicle capacity. Tri Underground was proud to supply TMR approved pits and concrete products to this project.

Petrie Roundabout Upgrade

Supplying the underground pits, conduit, and concrete materials for the Electrical & ITS package of the Department of Transport and Main Roads’ Petrie Intersection Upgrade, Tri Underground are proud to support a local job. This project is transforming a large roundabout on the north side of Brisbane into a signalised T-intersection to ease congestion, reduce travel time and improve safety for all road users. @TMRQLD
Brays Road Upgrade

This project provides as essential upgrade to the Moreton Bay Region that includes resurfacing roads, installation of new traffic signals and a roundabout. Tri Underground are proud to be supplying our own Main Roads pits and conduits onto this job.
Bribie Island Road Upgrade

Supplying pits, bends and fittings to the Bribie Island Road upgrade, this upgrade provided essential infrastructure to the Moreton Bay Region.
Mackay Northern Access Upgrade (MNAU)
Contractor: CPB & Mi Electric
Project Details: 2020-2021
Carrying on from the previous successful supply of the Mackay Ring Road project, we got our chance to bring some innovation to this project. Working closely with CPB, we were able to design a custom Base Plate to suit Circular T60 pit that provided protection from the steep embankments for the pits that were installed at the bottom.
M1 Upgrade – Varsity lakes to Burleigh (VL2B)

Providing critical upgrades to the M1 on the Gold Coast Queensland, this job is widening the M1 to a minimum of 3 lanes in each direction. Tri are proud to supply conduits, pits, bends and fittings to this project across all of its stages.
Mackay Ring Round (MRR)

Designed to create a safer bypass for trucks passing through Mackay, Tri Underground supplied conduits, pits, bends and fittings to this site via semi loads.
Slow down for Sam & Wildlife Awareness Campaign
Contractor: Brisbane City Council
Project Details: 2019 – Current
Tri Underground are proud to support an ongoing speed awareness monitors ‘SAM’ introduced by Brisbane City Council. Working closely with the council we created a split TRI TUFF lid to fit around the base of the base for temporary installations. The program has been so successful Brisbane City Council are now introducing wildlife awareness monitors as well.
Auckland Road Upgrade
Tri Underground provide pits for the ongoing TSL works across New Zealand. These projects utilise our T60 pit and TRI TUFF Collar with TRI TUFF Composite cover with custom labelling.
Pacific Motorway (M1) – Oxenford Interchange (Exit 57) Upgrade

Greenacre Substation
Contractor: Multiworks
Project Details: 2018
We were able to assist with emergency bends required on the Greenacre Substation when the scope unexpectedly changed on site due to our onsite manufacturing capabilities in NSW. Tri Underground were able to turn these bends around in 1 business day so that works were not held up indefinitely.
