PE P1 - P9 Pits and Lids
The P1-P9 range is used in a variety of networks Australia-wide. This includes general electrical / telecommunication installations as well as major networks including NBN and Telstra. Wherever possible, Tri Underground adopts environmentally sustainable policies including using recycled and re-recyclable materials. The PE pit range is designed to be fitted with a Class A or Class B load rated lids. Please refer to the below table for information about Class Load Ratings

P1-P9 Lid / Cover Data
There are a variety of pit covers designed to meet different networks including, QLD TMR, NBN, Telstra & Energy Queensland. See below table for our commonly supplied lids options. Other styles such as infill lids, lockable and pad-lockable lids are available upon request.
Concrete Class A lids are a commonly used in the Energy Queensland network and in new residential subdivisions. They are available in the full P1-P9 range as per the below table

TRI TUFF Lids (QLD TMR approved)
Tri Underground is the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of the Tri Tuff Class B Composite Cover. This Australian-made cover is widely used through Queensland for both Main Roads & Councils as it’s lightweight and made from a non-conductive, slip resistant composite material. This is beneficial as no insulated coating is required to make this lid safe & non-conductive.
Customised shackless Padlock-able and customised labelling options are also available upon request for a variety of networks including red light/speed camera lids of the Queensland Police Service. Ask our team to find out more about these.
