T100 Circular Parts
The circular pit range (sometimes referred to as CCJ Pits) are suitable in a variety of applications as they provide strength, time, and cost benefits over other rectangular and concrete pits. Circular pits are a PE, smooth walled pit that comes with collars and lids as well as the option of risers and concrete surrounds.
Tri Underground circular pits have sufficient strength for a Class B application, making them suitable for installation where they can be mounted by light vehicles (for example mowers/some tractors) and pedestrians. They are also ideal for installations with multiple conduit entries from any direction as its smooth walls provide stability without compromising the integrity of the pit.
Being circular in shape also assists with installations close to kerbing and footpaths as there’s no need to align the pits parallel with the kerb/footpath for aesthetics.
T100 Circular Pit
T100 1000mm dia circular pits are available in a 1.2mtr deep & a split pit option. This Class B pit is exclusively manufactured with a TRI TUFF T100 Collar, TRI TUFF Composite T100 Lid a riser & Concrete surround.
This separate pit/collar/riser design allows for the pits to be cut down or raised in height once the ground level has been established meaning they don’t have to be installed perfectly at finish height.
T100 Split Pit
The T100 Split Pit is a thicker walled, Class B pit that is designed for installation around existing conduits allowing for the installation of additional conduit runs without needing to cut original cables. This is ideal where there is a crossover between different authorities.
T100 Collar
This pit is supplied exclusively with a TRI TUFF collar. This collar is lightweight and robust making handling on site easy. This with the composite lid withstand a Class B load rating making it ideal for a variety of installations.
T100 Riser
T100 Circular risers are designed to raise the height of a T100 circular pit after installation.
T100 Lid / Cover
The T100 pit has been designed to be supplied with the T100 TRI TUFF lid. Just like the T60 version, this lid is Australian Made and meets Class B load rating. It is a lockable cover made from non-conductive material to provide a safer material to handle. For the Queensland Main Roads market, this lid meets MRTS91 specification.
These lids are currently available in Electrical, Communications and Traffic Signal. Pad lockable options and custom labelling options are available upon request.
T100 Circular Infill Covers
The 2 part-square to round infill cover is designed to be installed over a circular pit without the need for a collar. These are commonly used in urban council areas with decorative footpaths to blend in with the streetscape. These are Australian made from galvanised steel and are commonly filled with either concrete or pavers. These are a custom item so please enquire with our team for more information.
